About this project

There is no obligation to participate in the project, or to continue with the project once you have started. Your GP practice will not be informed about your participation in the project. It does not affect your care provided by your GP practice.

Before we start, we would like to tell you how we will contact you to follow up, how we use your data, and what we expect from you. 

We ask that you weigh yourself once a week and enter this in the programme tracker.

We will contact you via telephone and email with surveys to ask you how you’re finding the programme. These should not take long and we will collect your answers to use in our anonymised data in evaluating the project. The Academic Health Sciences Network will be doing the data analysis.

You are not required to do these surveys and can opt out at any time by emailing us at seoxhapilot@thefast800.com.

Privacy and your data

The Fast 800’s privacy policy has information about how the programme collects and uses your data. We use Survey Monkey (privacy policy here) when doing our telephone interviews. We use Mailchimp (privacy policy here) to send you emails to the email address you use to register with the programme.

If you accept your data being collected in this way and consent to being contacted by us to follow up on your experience with the programme, we’d love to offer you a free membership to The Fast 800 programme. You can opt out of the data collection anytime by replying to the email you were sent with your login details.
